Project Manager 

Who are we looking for?  

Bridewell has seen extensive growth over the past few years and as such we are looking for ambitious individuals who are passionate about Project Management and Cyber Security and are keen to continue to develop and grow with us. You’ll be an experienced Project Manager who has the ability to support on several key projects at any one time. You’ll have experience in various Cyber Security delivery implementations, with an understanding of Risk Management across industries such as CAA/NIS/DFT (to name just a few). Some knowledge in managing Risks and coordinating these across multiple suppliers and stakeholders is also desired. 

What you’ll be doing 

As a Project Manager at Bridewell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing Cyber Security projects, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives that safeguard our clients’ organisations against evolving threats. Leveraging your extensive project management expertise and technical knowledge, you will partner with and contribute to the enhancement of the overall Cyber Security posture and resilience of our clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that align with industry best practices and regulatory standards. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the start-up and initiation phases of Cyber Security projects, defining clear project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.  

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation approaches. 

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential security threats and project risks.  

  • Utilise industry frameworks and standards to ensure robust risk management practices. 

  • Oversee and manage projects end-to-end in line with the Association for Project Management guidance. 

  • Manage projects such as Security Framework Audits and Implementation, Cyber Strategy, Cyber Risk Management, Data Privacy, Offensive Security, Security Architecture, and Cloud Security & Engineering.  

  • Lead the onboarding process for Managed Security Services including Managed Detection & Response, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management Services. 

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of managed services within clients’ environments. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and clients, serving as a trusted advisor on Cyber Security project implementation. 

  • Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project objectives.  

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security professionals.  

  • Encourage a collaborative and innovative work culture within the project team.  

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the project management lifecycles.  

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning amongst team members, promoting ongoing professional development.  

  • Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of financial resources.  

  • Optimise resource allocation to maximise project efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Ensure thorough documentation of project plans, deliverables, and outcomes.  

  • Provide regular status reports to senior leadership and clients, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and milestones.  

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews, gathering feedback and insights to improve future project delivery.  

  • Implement lessons learned to enhance project management processes and outcomes. 

What we’re looking for 

You’ll have experience of: 

  • 1+ years experience as a Project Manager in Cyber Security or Information Technology with a focus on leading projects from initiation to completion. 

  • Practitioner level qualification in Project Management (e.g. APM PMQ, PMI PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM) with a commitment to ongoing professional development. 

  • Eligibility of becoming a Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM). 

  • Knowledge of Cyber Security principles, standards, and technologies desirably resulting in at least a foundation level qualification (e.g. ISC2 CC, BCS CISMP). 

  • Experience of working with a Cyber Security services provider or Cyber Security function. 

  • Previous experience in client-facing roles, understanding and meeting client expectations. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas and project updates to diverse audiences.  

  • Proven ability to engage and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project with experience of developing and executing project plans aligned with statements of work.  

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of addressing challenges and finding effective solutions.  

  • Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance, ensuring project deliverables meet the highest of standards. 

  • Proven ability to adapt to change, managing and leading teams through project and organisational change.  

  • Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risk, ensuring successful risk management throughout the project lifecycle.  

  • Ability to think strategically, align project goals, with broader organisation objectives, and contribute to long-term vision. 

  • Strong analytical skills to assess project performance, analyse data, and make informed decisions. 

  • Experience of using Microsoft 365 applications to facilitate effective team communication and collaboration. 

  • Effective negotiation skills to manage conflicts, reach consensus, and drive project success.  

  • Exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines.  

  • Commitment to continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance project management processes and outcomes.  

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects across a variety of clients.

Location: Bridewell operates a hybrid and flexible working policy, however you will be required to travel to different sites on occasion.
