Bridewell is a fast-growing cyber security company, that is currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join the team. Bridewell have a strong track record of delivering leading security operations services with excellent customer service. Bridewell have an exciting and varied portfolio of clients across Critical National Infrastructure, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Government, Aviation and more. We assist our clients by providing a full range of security services across Information security, cyber security, security operations, technology risk, security testing and data privacy.
What you’ll be doing
The junior accountant role supports the finance team and will be responsible for the areas set out below alongside adhoc duties as required by the CFO and the senior finance team
members.
The duties and responsibilities include:
Receivables to cash:
- Invoicing routine and non complex transactions
- Reviewing and managing the revenue recognition templates in Salesforce
- Working with the sales team to ensure timely billing of services and resolution of any issues
- Recharging expenses to clients
- Credit control and debtor management to ensure timely payment of invoices by customers
- Undertaking assigned balance sheet reconciliations
- Assigned accruals processing and month end reviews for cost accruals
- Fixed asset management
- Providing support to the Management Accountant as required for payroll processing including liaising with the payroll bureau and the People team to collate and review data/reports.
- Adhoc tasks and projects as required
- Can do attitude
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communicator – this role works with multiple teams across the business and with customers
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Diplomatic and discrete
- Proficient at MS Office, particularly with Word and Excel Essential
- Desirable experience with an accounting software
- Accounting experience – accounting degree/AAT level 2-3
- Practical experience of working in a finance team is desirable

Location: Bridewell operates a hybrid and flexible working policy, however you will be required to travel to different sites on occasion.
