What will you be doing?
You’ll be working across a variety of clients in a range of industries, whilst collaborating with multiple teams across Bridewell. Your primary focus will be supporting our customers in maximising their investment in Microsoft Purview and associated Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies. This includes advising on, designing, and implementing end-to-end data governance, compliance, and risk management solutions.
You will work on a range of Microsoft Purview capabilities - from Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection (IP), Insider Risk Management (IRM), and Data Lifecycle Management to deploying and optimising Purview solutions for data discovery, classification, and regulatory compliance.
Specific tasks may include:

Designing and deploying Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms to meet organisational data governance and compliance objectives.

Assessing customer environments and requirements to deliver tailored Microsoft Purview configurations, policies, and controls.

Supporting and designing deployments of Purview features such as eDiscovery, Communication Compliance, Information Barriers, and Data Classification.

Advising on and implementing best practices for Insider Risk Management and regulatory compliance using Purview's advanced tools.

Working with C-level stakeholders, compliance, and information governance teams to align technical solutions with business policies and regulatory requirements.

Integrating Microsoft Purview with wider Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and Azure infrastructure.

Creating and maintaining technical project documentations such as technical configuration documents or low-level designs.

Liaise with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment of security strategies with business goals.

Presenting findings and recommendations to customer technical teams and technical decision makers.

Providing ongoing support and advisory to customers, helping them optimise their compliance posture through continuous improvements.

Supporting the wider team in Bridewell, including our Managed Security Services team with customer-facing and internal tasks.
You will have experience in:
-
Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

Deep understanding of Purview features, including:
-
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
-
Information Protection (Sensitivity Labels, encryption, etc.)
-
Insider Risk Management
-
eDiscovery & Communication Compliance
-
Data Lifecycle Management & Records Management
-
Information Barriers & Data Classification
-
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Azure platform integrations.

Experience designing or auditing enterprise data governance and compliance controls.

Strong documentation skills, including low-level designs, deployment guides, and client-facing summaries.

Ability to clearly present findings, recommendations, and technical designs to clients and internal stakeholders.
-
A passion for problem-solving, collaborative team working, and an excitement for creating innovative solutions.
-
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to managing multiple deadlines and priorities at any given time.
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work both independently and within a team.
It would be nice if you had any of the following:

Familiarity with broader Microsoft Security tools such as:
-
Microsoft Entra (Identity Protection, Identity Governance, etc.)
-
Microsoft 365 Defender suite (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps)
-
Microsoft Defender for Cloud & Microsoft Sentinel
-
Knowledge of security solutions in AWS and/or GCP environments.
-
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python or BASH.
-
Knowledge of industry frameworks and benchmarks, such as CIS and MITRE.
-
Experience working in a Security Operations Centre.

Experience delivering customer facing presentations to technical senior stakeholders.

Industry recognised certifications (Microsoft, SANS, ISC2 etc.)

An innate ability to simplify complex topics into natural human language and create understanding for non-technical teams.

Location: Bridewell operates a hybrid and flexible working policy, however you will be required to travel to different sites on occasion.
